Splitting: Changing Psychoanalytic Institutes

Here is a link to my paper published in The Candidate Journal, a peer-reviewed publication dedicated to exploring psychoanalysis across generations, institutes, and theories. I was happy to share my experience training at both psychoanalytic institutes in Toronto--and why I left the "Contemporary" for the ostensibly more "conservative" (older) institute. I read the paper at the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education in Fort Lauderdale and at the Candidate's Voice, an event to celebrate the publication of the Candidate Journal, in New York City in 2017.
